This heading reminiscent of sunny shores (the french poet A. Rimbaud writes: — "I have struck, do you realize, incredible Floridas ..." ) also develops a combination of ideas from its etymology as "Florida" means "Land of flowers" in latin.

'NEW FLORIDA' designates the enigmatic territory, infinitely distant and yet so close, where six artists on a quest for the ideal have happily landed, guided by the Morning Star.

'NEW FLORIDA' refers to the idea of creating a "New world": a world in the making is to be presented, it has not yet been finalized. It is a movement towards a world for we are all constantly, at every moment, creating a world with our minds. The Buddha declares boldly: "With our thoughts we make the world."

Florida, as we said, originates from flower in Latin.

This flower is usually a rose or a lily in the West, a lotus or chrysanthemum in the East.

Flowers simply blossom out spontaneously, without an effort or a thought, which is why they are universally admired.

Similarly the works of the artists grouped in this exhibition, divested of any form of self-consciousness, reflect the radiant and mysterious flowering of creation.
